I have an Exim Server as Backup Mailserver.
The question is how do I prevent bounce mails.
here is an example:
mail for xyz@??? is recieved.
exim checks that he is an incoming relay vor "backup.mx" and accepts the
email.
exim tries to send the mail to xyz@??? at the master mx server.
The master mx server answers 550 address not routable, because the email
Address dos not exist.
So far its ok, but now exim on the backup mx server generates a bounce
message to the original sender of the message.
any suggestions how I can stop the backup mailserver from bouncing 550
errors ?
