Hi List,
I hope that I am mailing this to the correct list.
I am having a HUGE issue with sending emails to MessageLabs Mailboxes (from
their support@??? address to EACH AND EVERY ONE of their hosted
clients mailboxes)
I am running Exim (4.68) with SpamAssassin 3.2.3 (if that is relevant)
The Error Log shows the following:
---------------------------------
(1) × ???@???.??? F=<> R=lookuphost T=remote_smtp: SMTP error from remote
mail server after initial connection: host cluster3.eu.messagelabs.com
[195.245.231.163]: 501 Connection rejected by policy [7.7] 11408, please
visit
www.messagelabs.com/support for more details about this error message.
(email address of client removed)
When visiting their support URL, the best that they can tell me is:
---------------------------------------------------------------
501 Connection rejected by policy [7]
The error message indicates a permanent error. Please try resending your
message. If the problem persists, please contact your IT administrator or
ISP.
Upon emailing support@??? (from a HotMail account that I had to
setup, because I cannot email them directly from my primary address hosted
on my server, due to the problem above) they do not reply.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
I have googled this one silly and could not find an answer. I even tried to
call MessageLabs, but my skype connection to them was not good enough to
sustain the call. (I am in South Africa... Bandwidth is terrible)
Thank you in advance and Kind Regards,
Chris Grant
