While sorting through old stuff in my office, I came across a document
that I wrote in March 1995, shortly before starting work on Exim. It is
called "Thoughts on a future MTA". I could only find a paper copy, but
as I felt it might be of interest to the community, I have re-keyed it
and put a txt copy here:

It is interesting to see what made it into Exim and what fell by the
wayside.
