Subject: [exim] Exim 4.6 Catchall Behaviour
Hi there

We are having a wee issue with a client using getmail against our Exim
server.

They have a single POP3 account setup as a catchall account. However there
is an issue with this. If you send a single email to blah@??? and
blah2@??? only a single message is delivered. This unfortunately
breaks the getmail app, it sees the single email, but it is trying to
deliver the message to the two valid users on its side (blah and blah2)

So in summary, the catchall account is only storing a single email though
the email is intended for multiple recipients. The same behaviour applies if
one "to" address is used and another is "cc'd". He was tested to make sure
it isn't something weird in the way some email clients send email, tested
from Outlook 2003 on XP and Thunderbird on Ubuntu.

Any thoughts?

Jimmy
