Hi Nigel,

NM>While this stuff is still fresh in my mind I'd like to start getting
NM>PCRE development infrastructure sorted.
NM>
NM>Andrew, I'd appreciate it if you could create the following DNS names
NM>under pcre.org, all A records pointing to the IP address of tahini -
NM>131.111.8.192 (you could also add AAAA records to
NM>2001:630:200:8080:204:23ff:fed6:b664 )
NM>wiki
NM>bugs
NM>lists
NM>docs
NM>vcs
NM>ftp

This is done for IPv4 (I didn't bother with IPv6 because none of the
other domains I manage has it, and I didn't want to "learn" anything).
I'd be happy to cede ownership of the domain to someone else if they
want. (I pay $5/year through my friend who is an OpenSRS reseller.)

NM>We may wish to point www->wiki once the wiki is going - see what people
NM>feel is appropriate.

I'll do whatever people want. I do personally like fixed front-pages
though (a lot of open source software projects with Wiki frontpages have
long load times, although I can't speak for whatever Wiki is going to be
on tahini).

Right now mail for *@pcre.org also still goes to me and I'd be happy to
have (for example) webmaster@??? go to an exim.org list. (Warning,
I do get a significant amount of spam to pcre.org addresses.)

NM>Does anyone have a suitable logo (or an artistic bent to produce one)
NM>for PCRE? [Use of Camels may hit problems with ORA].

For the favicon.ico I just made a little graphic that says ".*" since I
figured that would be recognizable to anybody PCRE is interested in.
It's certainly neither artistic nor particularly iconic, though.

Humbly,

Andrew
