The difference is,
under FC2 (/etc/aliases modified by myself):
list: list@???
CENTOS 5 (mailman creates per default the following
entries in /etc/aliases)
## mailman Mailingliste
mailman: "|/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
post mailman"
mailman-admin: "|/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
admin mailman"
mailman-bounces: "|/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
bounces mailman"
mailman-confirm: "|/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
confirm mailman"
mailman-join: "|/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
join mailman"
mailman-leave: "|/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
leave mailman"
mailman-owner: "|/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
owner mailman"
mailman-request: "|/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
request mailman"
mailman-subscribe: "|/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
subscribe mailman"
mailman-unsubscribe: "|/usr/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
unsubscribe mailman"
...and so on for every new list which was created by
mailman-scripts!
hm? "/usr/lib/mailman" is the install dir of mailman
under C5, so the main config in exim.conf is something
like that:
MM_HOME=/usr/lib/mailman
MM_UID=mailman
MM_GID=mailman
MM_WRAP=MM_HOME/mail/mailman
MM_LISTCHK=/var/lib/mailman/lists/${lc::$local_part}/config.pck
Think I'll give it a try next week....any further
hints welcome!!
Thanks!
>> perhaps an alias problem?
>Possibly. Check that something hasn't been "helpful"
and put entries in your alias files for the list. If
they have, try commenting them out and then try the
exim -bt command. You can add a -d to that (exim -d
-bt list) which will give you more information. Let
us know how you get on and if you need any further
assistance. J -- ## List details at
