[exim] Queueing Performance

I'm wondering if I have queueing set up right. I'm submitting some
automated messages using BSMTP as follows:

---> | exim -odq -bS

However - it sometimes takes more that an hour to actually get around to
sending the message. I'm wondering what I can set to make queue
processing more agressive?
