/cygdrive/e/cygwin/usr/exim/configure file
Outside windows apache, it works in cygwin bash. I can send mail. I do not want to receieve mail. So I did not bother.
But in windows, I have to send a exim.bat file which points to exim4.67.exe.
Same bat file thing, under cgi-bin (apache setup) does work by prompting for run, save, cancel!
But it exim does not work, under command line mode for bugzilla -->> sendmail -->> exim and it throws this
on to the screen.
Found /cygdrive/e/cygwin/usr/exim/bin/exim-4.67-12.exe file, but can not execute.
There was only one time, there is an error in apache logs!
Header immature end is one of them followed by
/usr/exim/configure is in a wrong permissionms or group.
So I went a head and set an "alias /usr/exim /cygdrive/e/cygwin/usr/exim"
Still the same problem.
Note: I was also concerned about security, but I am a fan of cygwin and Linux. Unfortunately I did not have access to Linux. Of course the other route is Vmware.
There are no more errors in apache error log. Apache is 2.2 version. It may be filtering my messages.
I also copied configure file to c:/usr/exim and e:/usr/exim (e has cygwin)
Bugzilla -->> bugMail.pm and Mailer.pm and constants.pm , we can find under web.
I did try putting this line
push @args, "-C ...../configure"
That also did not work.
I did try the other command line tools, but I liked exim, so I want to make it work and post it to web.
