Do other mail servers reject mail originating from
your mail server, or does your mail server reject
email originating from other mail servers?
If the first is the case, maybe your new
source IP for outgoing connections is on a black list
(one for dynamic IPs for instance), but that doesn't
quite fit the "temporarily rejected after DATA" part,
which sounds like a spam scanner response.
Also, your MX configuration for readingroom.com is highly
unusual. The lowest and highest priority MX
are identical (and the host is down), the next two
MXs in line have the same priority and one of those
is also down.... 5 MX entries in total.
But maybe this is related to this
part of your business
"but we also create [..] email and SMS campaigns"
;-)
