I usually find one of the following three will find me the answer to a
question (if it is to be found in the documentation at all):

1. Looking up likely keywords in the Spec index;

2. Reading the table of contents;

3. A search within the PDF using Acrobat Reader tools or equivalent;

4. Application of a little intuition.

I do not believe any of those are outwith the capabilities of someone who
deems themselves competent to run an Internet mail server. Except 4.,
maybe.

How do you suppose the helpful people who say "RTFM: follow this link for
the exact bit" find the link themselves? Actually, for all I know, they
memorise the whole thing and know it back to front ...
