Hi,
My domain is in a virtual server which runs exim. what
I'd like to do is, i'll cc my outgoing email to
another email address, here is what I put in the
.forward file in my home directory:
#Exim filter
if $message_headers contains "wang" then
deliver wang@???
endif
when i tested it with :
/usr/sbin/sendmail -bf .forward -f wang@???
<testmessage
i got message like: filtering set up at least one
significant delivery or other action.
No other deliveries will occur.
but when i tried to send out some messages, nothing
happens.
I tried to look up /etc/exim.conf, it has something
like this about forward:
system_aliases:
driver = redirect
allow_defer
allow_fail
data = ${lookup{$local_parts}lsearch{/etc/aliases}}
file_transport = address_file
pile_transport = address_pile
retry_use_local_part
#user = exim
local_aliases:
driver=redirect
allow_defer
allow_fail
data=${lookup{$local_part}lsearch{/etc/localaliases}}
file_transport = address_file
pipe_transport = address_pipe
check_local_user
userforward:
#| |# filter renamed allow_filter
driver=redirect
allow_filter
check_ancessor
check_local_user
domains=| lsearch;/etc/userdomains
no_expn
file = $home/.forward
file_transport = address_file
pipe_transport=address_pipe
reply_transport=address_reply
no_verify
localuser_spam:
...
is user forward with #Exim filer activated in this
case? what need to be done so that .forward file can
be processed? thanks for any help.
