Hi,

on my secondary MX, I have configured my exim to to recipient callouts
für *@zugschlus.de. However, it sometimes refrains from doing them:

2007-06-03 00:45:48 H=(autohaus.at) [218.234.255.2] F=<kunoowupov@???> rejected RCPT <ackages@???>: response to "RCPT TO:<ackages@???>" from mailgate.zugschlus.de [85.214.68.41] was: 550 Unrouteable address

2007-06-03 00:45:54 1HucM5-0005dH-3k Completed

I interpret these log entries as a single message with seven invalid
recipients, five of which got rejected in the SMTP dialog after failed
callouts, while exim accepted two of them and created a late bounce
for them.

The primary MX has logged seeing only the callouts that the secondary
MX logged as well, and then the two rejects of the real delivery
attempts. It was quite heavily loaded at this time, but not as heavily
as to reject connections (and both secondary and primary MX would have
logged these rejects).

So, the question remains why the secondary MX called out for five
addreses, but not for the final two. Any ideas how to debug this?

Greetings
Marc
