Summary: Literal '.' in email address before the '@'
Product: Exim
Version: 4.67
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: bug
Priority: high
Component: Address Rewriting
AssignedTo: ph10@???
ReportedBy: arnold.levy@???
QAContact: exim-dev@???
Exim works great.
Thank you for the huge effort that is clearly evident from the extensive
features and documentation.
The question I have is how to get exim to send mail to an email
address such as mine - arnold.levy@??? where there is a '.'
in the email address before the '@' in the email address. It appears
that exim is doinf something with the '.' instead of interpreting it
as a literal.
How do I get exim to interpret the email addresses literally using
a command line switch?
I am using exim from the command line with -t switch so I supply
the To: From: in the headers of the email.
I look forwrd to an early reply by return.
Arnold :)
