That would depend on how CPanel stores the information - might be
better asking in a CPanel forum, since the expertise here is mostly
based on generic Exim. But if you post your configuration, a stab
could probably be made.
Are your gateway MXs also running Exim? If so, they're capable of
doing recipient callouts to your internal server, enabling them to
reject unknown recipients at SMTP time with no need to export data to
them.
