This is probably more a FreeBSD or clamav-thing, but since you ask:
For clarity: I build Exim by hand from source once it gets out. I let the
FreeBSD-ports system handle Clamav. Test-server is FreeBSD 5.4,
production-server is 5.3.
The clamav-port was revised twice since this thread started. Once for changing
the way the conf-file was handled, once for some other problems (go see
freshports.org for details).
I upgraded my test-server both times and it ran without a problem, threw it a
couple of test-files, etc.
I upgraded my production-server today, but the port failed to replace my
clamd.conf which led to parsing-problems. Moving clamd.conf.default to
clamd.conf was enough to get it going again since this now has
AllowSupplementaryGroups defaulted to on.
