[exim] outbound smtp auth

For reasons I won't go into in full, I need to be able to send emails using
exim outbound via another server. This server only allows SMTP with
Authentication.



I've read through what I think is required, and have configured it as
follows:



In exim.conf:

begin routers



cclserver:

driver = manualroute

transport = ccl

route_list = * mail.xyz.co.uk

no_more



begin transports



ccl:

driver = smtp

hosts_require_auth = *



begin authenticators

fixed_plain:

driver = plaintext

public_name = LOGIN

client_send = ^username^password



NB: Obviously the username and password have been changed.



I'm using Exim version 4.63 #1 built 04-Oct-2006 19:01:04 - the latest
available via yum.

Nothing else has been changed from the default config.

I've also setup an alias which forward all root emails to me - which is what
I can't receive.



Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?
