sa-exim doesn't really *delete* spam - it rejects it (you should never delete
or discard mail - you might lose wanted mail). But the default permanent
rejection threshold is 12 points. You can change this
in /etc/exim4/sa-exim.conf (the setting is called SApermreject). The
rationale is that there can be false positives, and therefore only "sure"
spam is rejected, while anything between the threshold set in the
SpamAssassin configuration and the SApermreject threshold is let through for
manual review (but flagged as spam).

If your bayes database is well trained you can probably lower the rejection
threshold to around 7-8 - that's what I do. Plus I greylist everything
between about 2.0 and that threshold.
