1) Visit the physical location of the PIX.
2) Replace it with a standard issue CAT5 cable.
3) Problem solved.
4) (Optional) Sell PIX to some poor sod on Ebay.

(Seriously, the PIX transparently rewrites SMTP traffic, you should
switch off that feature if possible).
