In our business-only environment there are 'quiet' times of day when there is
almost no legitimate traffic.

Also, as it is an 'all IMAP' environment, most deletions are first are placed in
the 'Trash' folder. The MUA's are setup to 'sync' local/serverside folders, and
to expunge the Trash on exit [1]. So, basically, the MUA's take care of cleaning
up the obvious anomalies.

In any case - these would not be a factor until and unless we actually have an
other-then-planned outage.

As the previous 'main' server (QMail) was at about 700 days uptime since last
reboot when it suffered a HDD glitch (non-RAID, yet fully recoverable, just not
the same-day), we probably won't really see much of a problem.

[1] OTOH, 'exit' from the MUA for some of the userland machines is as seldom as
a couple of times a year, so the SI sometimes manually purges them for those
staff who have not.
