I just finished a exim configuration that I'm happy with... my php gets
called, I read the enviroment vars
i.e.- $SENDER=$_ENV["SENDER"];
and everything works like a charm.

prometo_transport:
    driver = pipe
    return_fail_output   <--- added this to have exit(1) returning my stdout
and stdin output :-)
    delivery_date_add
    envelope_to_add
    return_path_add
    group = mail
    user = loprometo
    command = /usr/bin/php  /home/loprometo/tracking/mailpipe.php

Now it's just a lot of php programming left :-)
