FWIW, this is also triggered by the email test linked in
http://www.heise-security.co.uk/news/82218 (though the code seems to correctly
skip unkown characters). Should probably be fixed soon (for 4.64?), not only
because of the increasing publicity.
Tom, please tell if you don't have the time, then I'll try to find it.
