I've made a tiny little patch implementing random numbers. It's

I tried implementing it as either a variable or as an "${eval:" token.
I failed at both. Variables can't be function pointers returning
(char *) and "${eval:" recognizes single-character tokens only.
I recall seeing someone query an SQL database to get a random numeric
value. That's the rationale for writing the code. Besides, there are
countless other applications for random numbers. Like BOFH excuses given
to spammers.
