Our local MTA (Exim 4.63) receives its e-mail from our company mail
relay which does the virus checking of e-mail as it arrives into the
company.

Some of the spam arriving is spoofing the sender address of our local
domain.

If this type of e-mail arrives through our company mail relay then I
think it safe to say that it is spam and denied.


Which acl_smtp_rcpt ACL variable holds the name/address of our company
mail relay?
