Not to mention the portions of ham and spam which have invalid white space
between the : and the < in each of MAIL FROM: and RCPT TO:
I make a guess that the presence of white space will turn out to be a less
valid discriminator than the absence of <> (and that both are likely to
require careful whitelisting).
The stats should distinguish between submission and relaying.
