....err... and if you have not modified the mailertable and
virtusertables, and you'd like to use them as-is, I've been in that
situation for the last 1 week. I have nil background knowledge
of Sendmail, but I've gotten some help on this list which might
just get you off the ground.
However, if you say what your setup is (say, just users on
/etc/passwd), then it's rather simple with Exim - just the
local_user router and local_delivery transport need to be
configured to start with, besides the domain name it will
be handling.

Then of course you delve into the war where no RFC applies - war
against spam ;)
