[exim] Unable to reach host

Hi ,
I am seeing this error message from exim_log that says an intermittent
connection to a mail server.

R=send_to_hav T=remote_smtp defer (-53): retry time not reached for any host
Apparently, this error is very intermittent, occurs every few minutes... I
am quite sure the remote mail server is fine. Any other place/logs, I can
check?
