I was expecting to see:
>>>> debug: router: dnslookup
>>>> debug: transport: verp_smtp
Instead this occurs:
node1# exim -d -bt david-request@??? 2>&1 |\
egrep "transport|debug"
>>>> debug: router: dnslookup
set transport verp_smtp
queued for verp_smtp transport: local_part = david-request
transport: verp_smtp
router = dnslookup, transport = verp_smtp
The transport is set correctly and no debug_print occurs.
If I do an 'exim -bP transport verp_smtp' I see debug_print
is set correctly.
Someone let me know how to produce debug output from inside a
transport stanza.
Thanks.
Here's my configuration:
# router
dnslookup:
driver = dnslookup
debug_print = ">>>> debug: router: dnslookup"
domains = ! +local_domains
transport = \
${if match {$local_part}{^(.+)-request\$}\
{verp_smtp}{remote_smtp}}
ignore_target_hosts = 0.0.0.0 : 127.0.0.0/8
no_more
# transports
remote_smtp:
driver = smtp
debug_print = ">>>> debug: transport: remote_smtp"
verp_smtp:
driver = smtp
debug_print = ">>>> debug: transport: verp_smtp"
