[exim] group daemon was not found ?

Hello. I am having a strange entry in /var/log/exim/paniclog from exim. This
is the error log file:

2006-05-26 10:56:09 Exim configuration error in line 617 of /etc/exim.conf:
group daemon was not found

I have this on the respective files:

/etc/group:
daemon:x:2:root,bin,daemon

/etc/passwd:
daemon:x:2:2:daemon:/sbin:/sbin/nologin


Any idea?
