In what way doesn't it work? Was $address_data already used for something
else? Error messages, log entries, general description of symptoms, please?
After all, this *is* what address_data is meant for.

Are you looking for the batch_max option of the pipe or lmtp transport, or
max_rcpt of the smtp transport, which is the same as in Exim 3? Or what do
you mean by "cyrus 4.62"?
