Subject: [exim] how to limit initial attemps to bind to socket ?

This exim4 is installed only to get router firewall alerts/logs.
The machine is not continuosly running.
However, for several reasons (including wlan issues) it may happen
that the router is not reachable at boottime.
That's no problem, it will be re-connected later (and exim restarted).
However, exim's 10 trials to bind to the socket delay booting,
and although that's still in acceptable time somehow it's still just
ugly and unnecessary, in this special environment. It would be enough
to do 1 retry. I searched the manpage but couldn't find the
right keyword...Can i assigne the number with any config option ?
This is Debian GNU/Linux unstable, exim 4.3.
Please, cc to me i'm not on the list.
