I certainly don't want to force you to include it in exim proper, but I
think it would be useful for myself and the Annvix OS which I'm
developing.

Out of curiousity, do you note anywhere (changelogs or whatever) when
new options are added or changed? Manually tracking changes isn't that
big of a deal for me, as long as there is somewhere to alert me as to
when those changes are made.
