Does it seem reasonable from the lines from exim.conf below that it is
actually 'spamcheck' it uses? If so here are results:

# /usr/exim/bin/exim -oMr spamcheck -bt firstname.lastname@???
firstname.lastname@???
  router = spamcheck_router, transport = spamcheck
# /usr/exim/bin/exim -oMr spam-scanned -bt 
firstname.lastname@???
f_lastname@???
