Gotta hand it to yah, Nigel.
That is a *big* improvement over piping all trafic to /dev/nul
in a router/transport.
But how about:
sh /usr/local/etc/rc.d/exim.sh stop
Which takes fewer CPU cycles than either, yet unlike pulling the
power OFF, lets other daemons continue to function...
All no less ridiculous than blacklisting entire countries.
