Hello,

I have posted this question already but received no response, so I am
posting again with different subject.

I am running exim 4.5 on Debian Sarge. Becuase I do not have a fixed IP
address I generally use a 3rd party SMTP server when sending mail (SMTP
connection from user agent, not using forwarding from exim). I have a
problem where if I send a message to myself, when exim receives the
message it rejects the mail, and instead delivers a message with no
headers and "aaazzzaaazzzaaazzzaaazzzaaazzz" as the body.

If I configure my user agent to use my server as SMTP, the mail is
delivered properly. If I send to another user on my server using a 3rd
party SMTP server, the mail is delivered. Only when sending to myself
(or another user sending to themself) is there a problem.
