I bet you're using a Red Hat package.
You'll need:
localuser:
driver = accept
domains = +real_domains
check_local_user
transport = maildir_delivery
cannot_route_message = Unknown user
and
maildir_delivery:
driver = appendfile
directory = /home/$local_part/Maildir
maildir_format
delivery_date_add
envelope_to_add
return_path_add
