Not to worry.

The entire "RBL hell" issue has become overblown - at least here.

An experienced mailadmin knows that blocking on behaviour and content is
easier, more effective, and
more universally applicable than worrying about what IP-block the sender
is coming from, so we rarely need to bother.

Clueless RBL's (SORBS, RFC-Ignorant, SpamCop) have little credence
here. Professionally run ones do.

Most of the amateurs making so much noise about wanting 'acceptance' for
running a ten user MTA on DHCP, PPPoE, or even a fixed-IP in the midst
of such an IP block, haven't even read their uplink's ToS or they would
be much less noisy.

At least one poster here has shown a full understanding of the issues, a
practical and seasoned approach, and given advice on how to survive and
avoid trouble. He is a pro, and a pragmatist. I am sure there are more.

Buy whatever gives you the best service for the least cost.

Run your own private MTA from a PDA if it rocks your boat, or generate
your own electricity from a steam engine - if ToS / zoning ordinances
permit and you are in the mood. Run it either cooperatively and
correctly, and most folks will wish that you may live long and prosper.

My users will not be among those who know or care if you do otherwise.
You won't get past the gate.

And I even have a copy of Audels' "Steam Power Plant Engineer's Guide",
printed 1909, around somewhere if you need advice on the pet steam engine.
