Just before you take the method you chose as the most elegant, I just
wanted to let you know that there is another better method. With it,
you really do not have to create any entries in your aliases file!
Everything becomes transparent to Exim. Please take a look at:

Look at the notes at the very bottom. It's the version me and Marc
agreed on finally.

The benefit is that when you create or disable a queue on RT, you do not
have to do anything in your aliases file at all. It's all transparent.

This reminds me of Nigel's Mailman-2.x+Exim howto - transparency.
