per advice, i've set the remote's (remote.box.domain.com) X11Forwarding --> ON.
i can easily login in with "ssh -X ..." from my local-->remote
however, when i launch eximon in the remote shell/session, i get:
Exim Monitor version 2.05 (compiled 17-Oct-2005 11:29:59) initializing
Xlib: connection to "local.box.domain.com:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
Error: Can't open display: local.box.domain.com:0.0
where, as i believe is required:
% echo $DISPLAY
local.box.domain.com:0.0
% grep X11 $MY_SSHD_CONF
X11Forwarding yes
i gather i'm "close" ...
cheers,
richard
