Unless you have an overwhelming reason, upgrade to
Exim 4.50+ and use the purpose build ACL check:
'spam' condition.
From that version, SpamAssassin is supported by the
core product and documented there as well.
And SpamAssassin 3.10 is a nice improvement (but not
strictly required.)
