[exim] tls died

I'm running exim and ssl off the freebsd 6.0b3 ports tree

tls isn't happy anymore -- i think the ports system upgraded
something without me knowing,
tls connections just loop. forever.

this is a trace off of a connect -- this is the interminable loop

does anyone have ann idea?
