Would that not use a lot more resources with the calculation for every piece of
mail? Seems that way. And if being used in conjunction with a mailing list
character count would not vary much as only different value would be sender
name and address. Surprising how many in a list are the exact same size.
(Also missing a "\" on one line.)

Thanks, but actually I like John Jetmore's cleverness (using
${extract) better, for a small number of IPs. I just overlooked the
fact that he'd already posted a solution before Lloyd asked the
