Subject: [exim-dev] Autoreply transport does not set References header?
Hello,

I noticed that the autoreply transport does not set the References header
as described in RFC2822.

Although it is easy to add some code for that, logical References lines
may get very long. For Usenet, "son-of-1036" describes not to shorten
them, and if you really have to, never remove the first ID, the last
three IDs or any ID mentioned in the body.

Is there a common best practice when it comes to mail?

Michael
