I have 3 mail severs. 2 smtp server and 1 pop3 server running exim 4.43. I
get this message in my /var/log/exim/mainlog
SMTP protocol violation: synchronization error (input sent without waiting
for greeting): rejected connection
I have rejected connections from both of my smtp servers and also from my
webserver that I have exim installed for perl and php scripts. Everything
has been working great with this setup for around 2 months. I have around
150 message in my mail que on my pop3 server all from my webserver that are
not being delivered even when I try to force delivery using exim -qff . Any
help would be greatly appreciated
