That'll be an mail reading problem. You won't solve it with Exim, since
Exim is just for mail submission and mail delivery.

You'll need to look to your IMAP or POP server to fix this problem. Exim
doesn't do IMAP or POP. Cyrus IMAP server is good for multiple access to a
single mailbox.
