Often my server suffer from some sort of DoS due a lot of messages
that arrive at the same time (up to 150 per minute) , with spamassassin
sucking a lot of resources.
While for messages coming from an alien MTA is not a problem (it can
retry later) for local people is a real problem since with default
configuration the slowness of response mean that some clients timeout.
Is then reasonable to add a second exim daemon, listening only on 465
and 587 , used only by local users ?
would this lead to bro\blems in queue management ? what i can expect
by increased performance (seen from the poit fo wiew of fast aceptance
on submission) ?
