In an attempt at serving users either through cyrus or aliases I
am getting the following error message.

R=cyrus_vdom T=cyrus_ltcp defer (-32): failed to lookup IP address for
localhost
Here is my cyrus_ltcp transport:
cyrus_ltcp:
driver = smtp
protocol = lmtp
allow_localhost
hosts = localhost
port = 2003
the cyrus_vdom router follows the system_aliases router.
aliases work.
