i have found a second host, which allows only relay by authenticated
clients. But he said to me:
SMTP>> EHLO 'mail.my-server-domain.com'
SMTP<< 501 syntactically invalid EHLO argument(s)
SMTP>> HELO 'mail.my-server-domain.com'
SMTP<< 501 syntactically invalid HELO argument(s)
SMTP>> QUIT
i tested it out. a ehlo like this works fine:
EHLO mail.my-server-domain.com
it's an exim 3.36 on slackware. any possiblity to change the first
contact?
