Does exim4 alwas resolve the names in the local_host_blacklist file?
Because I got a logfile entry like:
2005-08-08 15:16:12 no IP address found for host midea.tii-dial.net
(during SMTP connection from angband.cg.cs.tu-bs.de (cgv.tugraz.at)
[134.169.37.163])
2005-08-08 15:16:12 H=angband.cg.cs.tu-bs.de (cgv.tugraz.at)
[134.169.37.163] F=<techmann@???> rejected RCPT
<t.techmann@???>: relay not permitted
Yeah, the host midea.tii-dial.net was in the local_host_blacklist.
But why doesn't exim4 permit the relay if a blacklist entry doesn't resolve?
