I'm running Exim version 4.50 #1 built 01-Apr-2005 on a RH ES3 box, in a
rather unmodified, thus standard (but what's standard?) way. I only
added ClamAV (0.86.2) and Spamassassin (3.0.2).
It's been running fine for a month, but since last week I am
experiencing rejects to a legitimate e-mail address, that used to work
fine. In Exim's mainlog I see these entries:
2005-08-05 16:07:19 H=(193.79.15.10) [193.79.15.10]
F=<bounce-automatiseringgidstext-7090@???>
rejected RCPT <user@???>: to unblock see
http://www.domain.nl/
2005-08-05 16:07:19 H=(193.79.15.10) [193.79.15.10] incomplete
transaction (RSET) from
<bounce-automatiseringgidstext-7090@???>
The user and user@??? is a valid user at a valid domain where I
get a large amount of emails per day.
I tried to whitelist the IP address, although the above IP 193.79.15.10
has been used before, when I did receive e-mails from this list. No luck.
Anyone having any pointers where to start looking howto fix this?
Thanks,
Martin.
