[exim] mysql query causing seg fault

I am currently testing a mysql query for blacklisted ip addresses. We
currently use a flat file and that works fine. This query works if it
returns a result (match), but if there is no result I get a segmentation
fault.

deny message = sender envelope address $sender_address is locally
blacklisted here.

hosts = ${lookup mysql{select ip_address from blacklist where
ip_address='$sender_host_address'}{$value}fail}

log_message = $sender_host_address is locally blacklisted.

Any help would be appreciated.
